Right, Hibees, we’re back in Europe! Europa League next season, and I’m buzzing. After that unreal turnaround last year – third place, Boyle’s 20 goals, and the women’s team champions – what’s our game plan for Europe? Do we go all-in for a deep run, or focus on the league and cups? Need to sort out squad depth too with all those injuries last season (Newell, Kwon, Youan). Who do we sign, and how far can we go? GGTTH!
First post on the forum – what a time to be a Hibee! Europa League’s gonna be class, but I’m nervous about injuries again. We need at least four signings: centre-back, midfielder, striker, and a winger. Gray’s got the magic touch, so I trust him to balance Europe and the league.
European football is what dreams are made of. I want us to go for it – get to the group stage and show Europe what Hibs are about. Boyle’s pace will kill teams. Sign a hard-hitting midfielder and a backup keeper. Also, let’s pack Easter Road for every home game – atmosphere’s gonna be key!
The atmosphere’s gonna be unreal, mate. Easter Road bouncing for a European night? Chills. I’d love a midfielder like McTominay (in my dreams, ha). Let’s make some noise in Europe!
I’m torn. Europe’s exciting, but a bad run could tank our league form. I’d focus on top six and a cup run, with Europe as a bonus. Sign a centre-back and a striker to help Boyle. The women’s team in Europe is gonna be massive too – let’s support them all the way!
Good point about the women’s team – they’re gonna do us proud in Europe. I think we can aim higher than top six, though. Gray’s shown he can handle pressure. A couple of smart signings, and we’re golden.
