Europa League Dreams for 25/26

Right, Hibees, we’re back in Europe! Europa League next season, and I’m buzzing. After that unreal turnaround last year – third place, Boyle’s 20 goals, and the women’s team champions – what’s our game plan for Europe? Do we go all-in for a deep run, or focus on the league and cups? Need to sort out squad depth too with all those injuries last season (Newell, Kwon, Youan). Who do we sign, and how far can we go? GGTTH!

Buzzing for Europe! Easter Road under the lights against some big European sides? Yes, please! I say we balance league and Europe – we can’t afford another slow start like 24/25. Sign a proper centre-back and a creative midfielder. Maybe a loan from a Premier League club? Boyle’s gonna tear it up in Europe, I can feel it.

A European night at Easter Road will be electric! I’m with you on the signings – we need depth. A ball-playing centre-back like Hanlon in his prime would be class. Also, we need to keep Boyle fit. He’s our talisman.

Loan signings are a shout, GreenMachine. Maybe someone like Harry Souttar on loan if he’s not getting game time? Boyle in Europe could be lethal – imagine him running at some shaky continental defences!

I’m dreaming of a Europa League group stage run. Gray’s got the tactics sorted, and that 17-game unbeaten streak last season proves we can compete. I’d focus on Europe over the cups – a deep run would put Hibs on the map. Sign a striker to back up Boyle and a defensive midfielder to cover Kwon’s departure.

Group stage would be massive! I’d love to see us nick a win against a big name – maybe a Portuguese or Dutch side. Agree on the striker – Kukharevych’s injury-prone, so we need someone reliable to share the load.

Boyle’s gonna be a star in Europe – those wingers won’t know what hit ‘em. I want us to go for it in the Europa League, but we can’t let the league slip. Top four again is a must. Sign a winger to rotate with Youan and a keeper to challenge Smith. Jordan’s been class, but we need backup.

Europe’s exciting, but I’m worried about our squad depth. We were knackered by injuries last season. I’d sign at least three players: a centre-back, a midfielder, and a versatile forward. Focus on the league for consistency, but don’t sleep on Europe – a couple of wins could bank us some serious cash.

Spot on about depth. We can’t rely on Bushiri and Iacovitti for a whole European campaign. A versatile forward like Shankland (I know, long shot) would be a dream. League’s gotta be priority, though – third again would be unreal.

European football is back, baby! I want us to make a statement – maybe a scalp like beating a Bundesliga side. Gray’s got to rotate the squad smartly. Sign a young, hungry winger and a tough-tackling midfielder. Also, let’s get the women’s team some European hype – they’re champions, after all!

This is our chance to shine in Europe. I’d go all-in for a group stage spot – imagine the scenes at Easter Road! We need to keep Gray and Boyle at all costs. Sign a proper No. 10 to unlock defences and a centre-back with pace. League’s important, but Europe could define our season.

A No. 10 is a great shout. Someone like Gauld (if we could afford him) would be perfect. European nights are gonna be special – I’m already planning my trip for the away leg! Let’s make some noise.

The women’s team in Europe is gonna be huge – Grant Scott’s got them playing unreal football. For the men, I’d focus on Europe for the prestige but keep a top-six spot in the league. Signings-wise, we need a left-back (Obita’s been shaky) and a striker. Also, can we fix VAR before the season starts?

I’m all about Europe. Those nights at Easter Road will be magic. Boyle and Cadden tearing down the wings, Gray’s tactics outsmarting some fancy European coach – I’m here for it. Sign a defensive rock and a playmaker. Top four in the league and a cup run would be the dream.

New fan here, been lurking for a while. Europe’s massive, but we need to be realistic – our squad’s thin. I’d sign a couple of experienced heads for Europe, maybe a free agent or two. League form can’t dip, though – we need to back up last season’s third place. Boyle’s my hero already!

Welcome, GorgieGreen! You’re spot on about experience – a veteran centre-back would steady the ship in Europe. Boyle’s gonna love those big stages. Let’s keep the momentum from 24/25 going!
